Pulamo Girls?

Model-making adds glam to bridge divide. Model building mainstream? A clothing company opening a hobby shop in a mall? Women in their 30s building models? Japan sure is a weird place.

Though I do have to admit adding glitter to a Spitfire could be fun...

As usual the Japanese are leaving us in their cultural and artistic exhaust....

I've noticed that young women seem to have far wider interests than when I was a teenager.

I was talking recently to a young lady who was interested (and a good conversationalist, too) about amusement parks, reptiles, and horror movies, among other things. And the thought that came to mind was "...Where were the girls like this when *I* was growing up?".

My the way, Matt -- My wife *does* read comic books...
